Interesting, all teams have celebrated their wins in away matches.
Igor Gorgonzola Novara suffered defeat from the German team at home after four sets, while three other matches were finished in straight sets.
“I am disappointed about my team’s performance,” said Igor Volley’s head coach Luciano Pedullà. “Because I really did not expect such a bad game even if we were tired after the Italian cup finals. Nothing worked and I felt powerless. Now we need to play with different spirit and determination in the return match on Tuesday night in Schwerin.”
Re-matches are on schedule on March 10th and 11th.
