Japan scored another home straight-set victory against South Korea in the 2015 FIVB World League – Pool D (Group 2) thanks to an excellent display from Kunihiro Shimizu (17 points) - 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-18).

Korea had the best chance in the first set when gained a solid three-point lead, but the hosts turned the gap quickly.

In the second and third set, Japan gradually built the lead and made an open way to its win even until the second technical time-out

Beside Shimizu, Masahiro Yanagida also had double digits (13). Korean squad contained only two players with 10+ points as well – Song Myung-Geun with 16 and Seo Jae-Duck with 11.

Japan cemented itself on the second position in its pool, just behind the superior French national team.
