United States recovered from losing the first match to Puerto Rico and first set against Mexico in Round 2 of Pool A – 3-1 (20-25, 27-25, 25-16, 25-17). Mexico is winless in two outings.
Zachary La Cavera had 17 points as the best scorer for USA. Daniel Vargas stood out among Mexican players with 14.
