The clip presents the city of Varna, dubbed the seaside capital of Bulgaria, as one of the hosting venues of the men’s EuroVolley 2015. Varna will be hosting the matches of Pool C starring reigning world champions Poland, the ‘Red Dragons’ of Belgium as well as the national teams of Slovenia and Belarus.
In this video, Dominique Baeyens and Sam Deroo, coach and captain of Belgium, one of the teams set to play in Varna, as well as the former coach of the Bulgarian national team Silvano Prandi, talk about the upcoming championship and the incredible audience expected at the Palace of Culture and Sports which already played host last July to the 2015 FIVB World League – Group 2 Finals. Prandi was at the helm of Bulgaria when the ‘Lions’ won bronze at the 2009 edition of the European Championship in Izmir, Turkey.
