WC M: Head coach of Iran devastated – „I’m not sure what happened against Italy…“

„We didn’t play good volleyball and didn’t follow our game plan today. We didn’t get enough attacks. We attacked better against Argentina, but it was different against Italy. I’m not satisfied with the result. I’m not sure what happened today,“ Slobodan Kovač, the head coach of Iran, said in a press conference.

Recall Kovač’s outburst against Russia when his disappointment with the play of his players began to grow.

Iran will play its next game in the tournament against the United States, on Thursday.

If it suffers defeat in that match as well, Iran will lose all the chances to qualify to Rio from a World Cup.
