The Iranian Women’s Premier League is ready to embark on a new season that will showcase eight club teams starting on November 19, when the preliminary round will take place in one round of home-and-away matches, followed by the playoff round.

The 14th edition of the league will have the top women’s club teams such as Saipa, Paykan, Urmia Shahrdari, Tabriz Shahrdari, Fars, Zob Ahan, Daneshgah Azad and Tehran Gas.
Last year, the Women’s Super League took place with six clubs, including the top three finishers Daneshgah Azad, Isfahan Zob Ahan and Tehran Gas.
