Third-seeded Bayi equalized at 1-1 against second-seeded Tianjin after huge home win 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-22).
Yuan Xinyue topped Bayi scorers with 14 points. The opposite hitter had a support from Wang Yunlu and Liu Yanhan. Both scored 13.
The Cuban opposite Nancy Carrillo was the most efficient in Tianjin with 15 points. Chen Liyi added 12.
The Chinese vice champions, Shanghai (entered playoffs from the fourth place), are close to secure their spot in the big finals after another win over top-seeded Jiangsu 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-17).
Canadian bomber Sarah Pavan stood out in the winning team with 22 points, while Zhang Yichan contributed with 13.
Zhang Changning and Xu Ruoya had 12 each in Jiangsu, who ended ther title hopes after surprising takeover of pole position in Top 8 stage.
