Home fans, the fans of Shahrdari Urmia VC, were especially furious with Valerio Vermiglio, Italian setter from Paykan Tehran, who has worn their jersey last season.

At one point, while throwing coins from the stands, they hit Vermiglio in the head, who firstly refused to continue the game. Even the referee wanted to stop the clash, but game observer insisted that it should be continued.
