Part of the ceremony
A folk dance was the first part of the ceremony, followed by the parade of the participating teams and the words of the President of Panama´s Volleyball Federation, Carlos Quintana.
“We have the privilege to bring to Panama a world class tournament” were the opening words of Quintana, “but this couldn’t be possible without the support and confidence of NORCECA and AFECAVOL authorities, especially by their Presidents, Mr. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz and Mrs. Marta Centeno de Sajche”.
A warm welcoming for Bonaire as this is their first time in a NORCECA championship was the highlight of the night, as of the words of gratitude to Roxana Mendez, Mayor of Panama City for her invaluable collaboration.
