Robežsardze
The series had started with two wins for SK RTU / Robežsardze. Tthey previously missed out the Final Four of the Baltic League by losing exactly from Poliurs / Ozolnieki.
However, what seemed to be an easy run for RTU, has dramatically changed after the next couple of matches, which were both claimed by Poliurs/Ozolnieki. Thereby, the equality in the championship series was restored.
A fifth game had to be played to determine this year’s national champions, something which have not happened since 2008, and the clash starring Elvi/Kuldiga and Riga.
