The four contestants are previously known but four are waiting for the wild card. As “Voleybolun Sesi” revealed, the two of four wild cards have already been awarded. Last year’s winners Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul from Turkey and Swiss champions Volero Zürich will likely participate in the 2016 edition of the tournament.
As for the other two wild cards, another Turkish team and the CEV Champions League runners-up VakıfBank İstanbul are the most serious candidates for one of them.
The 2016 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship will take place in Philippines, on October 18-23.

Bangkok Glass – Thailand (Asian champions)
Philippines Super League All-Star Team (hosts)
