Brazilian girls led 2-0 in the first match of the second week at Group 1 of the FIVB World Grand Prix, but at the end Serbia celebrated the big and the first victory in this edition of the competition – 3:2 (16:25, 29:31, 25:19, 25:19, 18:16).
In tie-break Serbia had 12-7 and 14-10 but the yellow-green girls equalized and thanks to the Serbian block the team of coach Zoran Terzić won.
Young Tijana Bošković was without mercy on the net, she scored 30 points but what is more important she was the best when her team needed. Her teammates Brankica Mihajlović followed her with 26 points.
Brazil have had few chances to finish this game but it seems that this time they were just without solution. Fabiana and Natália were the top scorers in the team with 16 points.
