Asian giants closed the first round of Pool D – Weekend 2, in Macau, Macao (Round 4 of Group 1), with a straight-set victory over Belgium 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-22).

Although they played without their best player from the first weekend Zhu Ting (remained on the bench by the decision of a head coach Lang Ping), China did not have much trouble with the „Yellow Tigers“, outserving them (7-2).

Zhang Changning scored 16 points in the Chinese NT while Lise van Hecke had 15 in Belgium.
