Brazil coach Jose Roberto Lages Guimaraes: “It’s great to be in the finals. Each team in this competition is very strong, so this will be a very challenging competition. We prepared well for the finals and we will do our best here.”

Brazil captain Fabiana Claudino: “I’m very glad that my team have this chance to compete again in the finals. We will do our best in this competition. I wish my team to achieve the best results.”

China coach Jiajie An: “We are very glad to compete in the finals. Hosts Thailand gave us a very warm welcome. We are ready to fight the best teams in this tournament.”

China captain Ruoqi Hui: “I am pleased that my team are in the finals again. Thailand is hosting this event excellently and we feel at home here.”

Netherlands coach Giovanni Guidetti: “I’m glad that we are facing the world’s strongest teams in the finals. It’s great to have a chance to play them, as this will help us improve. We will do our best in each match and we will put our best efforts day by day.”

Netherlands captain Maret Balkestein-Grothues: “It’s a very tough challenge out here. Each and every team is strong, especially USA, which captured the top spot at the end of the preliminary round”. 

Russia coach Yuri Marichev: “We have trained intensively in Japan before we arrived here. I hope that my players will do their best.”

Russia captain Ekaterina Kosyanenko Pankova: “It will be a daunting challenge for our team because there are strong teams competing in the final round. We just need to concentrate on each game and give our best.”

Thailand coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai: “All our opponents in the finals are competitive and have qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. This will give us a valuable opportunity to learn and keep our focus, and stay on a high level. We will play according to our system and game plan, and we will play with sportsmanship and good spirit. I wish my team success in these home matches.”

Thailand captain Pleumjit Thinkaow: “I’m happy that Thailand got this opportunity to host one of the world’s biggest women’s tournaments because we can learn from the world’s best teams. We will play our best in front of our home fans.”

USA coach Karch Kiraly: “I would like to thank the Thailand Volleyball Association for hosting this world volleyball showcase. We now compete in the World Grand Prix finals and the teams we are competing with are very strong. It’s great for the sport and also great for the spectators.”

USA captain Christa Harmotto Dietzen: “The Final Six is very exciting. Thailand did a wonderful job welcoming each team. It’s a great challenge for the world’s top teams to be competing together ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. I wish our team success in the finals.”
