Canada vs. Taubate
Hoag’s side scored a victory in straight sets – 25-22, 25-22, 25-21.
The teams also decided to play an extra set and Canada also won it after playing 60 rallies – 31-29.
Canada is in Pool A alongside Brazil, Italy, United States, France and Mexico. They will play the first game at the Olympics on 7th August, against USA at Maracanazinho hall.
