After the arrival of Sladjana Mirković, Telecom Baku made more progress in building the team for the 2016/17 season.
According to apasport.az, Azerbaijani powerhouse agreed terms with Yana Azimova, while the club extended contracts with Bulgarian tandem Maria Filipova–Gabriela Koeva!
Azimova (setter) actually returns to Telecom Baku, as she played in this club in 2014/15 season. She spent the previous season in Lokomotiv Baku.
