Rodriguez
The 21-year-old receiver Sulian Matienzo extended her contract with Prostějov while the 23-year-old universal (receiver/opposite) Heidy Rodríguez arrived from the team from her home country, Villa Clara. Both are members of Cuban National Team.
Rodríguez is projected to replace Melissa Vargas, another Cuban player, who suffered shoulder injury and will undergo surgery. Thus, she will miss entire season.
