Four teams started playing with the new format of the competition – Kohila, Luka Bar, Maritza Plovdiv and Drita Gjilan. In the first legs, the teams from Estonia and Bulgaria have scored victories.
Kohila opened game much better than the team from Montenegro, but in the next set Luka Bar have managed to tie the result in sets.
Again, the home team set the control and beat the opponent in third and fourth set to take the advantage after the first leg. The second leg will be played in four days.
The Bulgarian team Maritza Plovdiv have made a huge step towards the second qualifying round after beating Drita Gjilan away in straight sets 25-13, 25-11, 25-15.
