India had to exert their full power to beat Uzbekistan 3-1 (25-15, 25- 13, 22-25, 25-17). Shadmonov Muhiddin, head coach of Uzbekistan said in the press conference said “We did not have sufficient training .It is the first time we are participating in such a big event. We hope that in the coming matches we will get good result. Our aim is getting experience from this championship. We hope to ascend to the next round .”
Indian head coach T.C Jothish said “In two first sets we were calm and comfortable. Our players assumed the game is running easily but the opponent team was not as weak as they thought and we lost the 3rd set. However, we took the game under control again in the fourth set.”
