Rijeka earned a 3:0 (25:14, 25:23, 25:23) home win versus Linz-Steg. Especially in the critical phases of the game the host operated more stable.
Linz-coach Jirka Siller: “Actually we can be comfortable with service and receive. But today we missed our normal block performance. We are hard working for that, so our today’s performance grieves highly.”
But in spite of the defeat the coach looks forward. Primarily the new accrual of Sherisa Livingston allows to view the future with optimism. “Next week she reveals in Linz. Then we will see, if she already is able to play on Saturday versus Maribor.”
