Only Serbia is safe, as it has already clinched the 1st place in Group E. While in the other 5 groups we will have 5 “finals” this Sunday.

In group A we will have a true volleyball classic – France vs. Germany (20:30 CET)! The winner of this game will advance directly to the 2018 FIVB Men’s World Championship, while the loser will have to participate in the 3rd round of the European Qualifications. France will have a home court advantage, as they are the hosts of Group A.

In Group B, Netherlands need to win two sets in the match against Slovakia (17:00 CET) to book their ticket for the 2018 FIVB Men’s World Championship. In case Slovakia win this match by 3-0, then they will win the 1st place in this group, while in case Slovakia win the match by 3-1 then the overall point-ratio will determine which team will go to the World Championship. Netherlands will have a home court advantage, as they are the hosts of Group B.

In Group C, Slovenia face Belgium (17:30 CET) and the winner of this game will qualify for the 2018 FIVB Men’s World Championship. Slovenia will have a home court advantage, as they are the hosts of Group C.

The same situation is in Group D, where Russia and Estonia (19:30 CET) play for the 2018 FIVB Men’s World Championship ticket. Estonia will have a home court advantage, as they are the hosts of Group D.

Finally, in Group F, Finland have to win at least two sets against Czech Republic (20:00 CET) to advance to the 2018 FIVB Men’s World Championship. On the other side, if Czech Republic win this match by 3-0 or 3-1 then they will play at the 2018 FIVB Men’s World Championship. Czech Republic will have a home court advantage, as they are the hosts of Group F.
