China defeated Korea 3:2, to enter the semifinals of the Asian Youth Boy's Volleyball Championship. Zhang Zhejia and Jo Jae-Sung were the best scorers. Ju Gengyin and Kim Young-Il gave statements. Jeong Dong-Geun got injured.

Korea got the first set 25-23 and second set 25-21 but the tempo win of Korean team did not continue. All of sudden in third set it proved that Korean players were emptied from energy and lost the third and fourth set. In the tiebreaker, China showed his priority and took the set 15-8 and also the match.

Zhang Zhejia of China as the best scorer with 20 points and Jo Jae-Sung of Korea got 15 points.

Ju Gengyin, head coach of China, remarked: “My players are so young. In this age their mental power is not stable. We did our best today and did very good performance . All these matches are exercises for them and by getting experience they would be good players in the future.

Kim Young-Il, head coach of Korea commented: “ First of all I would like to thank all players of both teams. China team is a great team. Their setter was very good. Korean players played well. For the time being China team is top class team in the world and will be the same in the future, During the match stamina of our team suddenly disappeared. So china got more chance for win.”

Regarding Korean tomorrow’s match with Japan, Kim remarked: “First thing is physical power of our team. Japan is good team. Our Capitan player Jeong Dong-Geun was injured this morning. We will prepare for the match with rest of players.
