Hisamitsu Springs have created the winning streak in the domestic league since they have two wins out of two matches so far. Yuki Ishii was in the mood, scoring 25 points to lead the team to win over JT Marvelous 3-2 (23-25, 23-25, 28-26, 25-13, 15-13). Foluke Akinradewo added 15, while Brankica Mihajlovic had 26 points on the other side.
Denso Airybees have also scored the first victory, beating Toray Arrows in four sets 20-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-23.
Body Queenseis have the perfect score so far, defeating Hitachi in the second round 3-0 (25-15, 27-25, 28-26). Neriman Oszoy had a good display, scoring 22 points for the winning side.
