JPN M: Clash of the titans in Japan, Omrcen wins; Panthers victorious, Shimizu overshadows Kubiak!

Gosei, Panthers, JTEKT and Toray Arrows have scored the wins in the second round of the Japanese V-League.

In the clash of the Titans, Igor Omrcen defeats Thomas Edgar’s team 3-1 (25-18, 25-17, 24-26, 25-22). The Croatian player scored 34 points, while the Australian Giant had 35.

Panasonic Panthers have won the game against Suntory Sunbird, but Michal Kubiak was not the best player on the winning side. Shimizu has overshadowed the Polish players, scoring 30 points.

Toray Arrows – Osaka Sakai 3-1 (29-31, 25-22, 25-19, 25-23);  Gavin Schmitt 30 – Wallace Martins 24

JTEKT – Tokyo 3-0 (33-31, 25-23, 25-23);  Kaziyski 21 – Pepic 21
