We are extremely grateful for this invitation and for having enjoyed the opportunity to show sitting Volleyball to such a great audience” says Poland’s head coach Bozhidar Abadzhiev. “We are also extremely happy that we could join this valuable project to help starving children in Chad. Sitting Volleyball is practiced by only 100 players in Poland. Normal and disabled players are welcome to join the team and the rules are very similar to those applied in Volleyball” he continues. The court size stands at 5×6 m, while the net is placed at 1.15 m from the ground for men and 1.05 m for women.

Poland’s national team finished sixth at the last European Championship held in the Netherlands.
