Lasko
Michal Lasko, a player born in Wroclaw with Polish origins but who played for the Italian national team throughout his career, will follow closely a big game scheduled for tomorrow morning in Tokyo. It’s Poland vs. Italy. A battle for the Olympic ticket.
In the interview for sportowefakty.pl. Lasko stated that he expects an amazing volleyball show.
“Poland deserved to qualify for the Olympic Games in Rio after everything they have showed at FIVB World Cup. They might have played a bit weaker against Japan, but it is really difficult to maintain maximum concentration throughout a tournament like this. For sure the game between Poland and Italy will be very interesting, as both teams have huge desire to score a win. So far I watched mostly game replays, but I think this night I will not sleep…” said experienced player.
Lasko especially praised one player from the Polish national team.
“The whole Polish squad deserves applause, but you need to especially appreciate the game of Michal Kubiak. He made giant progress!”
