The Italian squad are aware of the strength of their opponents, but they remain optimistic before the Sunday’s clash. Tine Urnaut stated for WorldofVolley that his team will give everything they have to claim the European throne.
“I am very happy that we managed to reach the Finals. Yes, we believed at the start of the season that we can go all the way to the end and we had a huge desire to make something like this… Still, that road was all but easy. Lube were one of the top favorites in this competition. They have volleyball stars on each position, so it is a big thing that we have managed to defeat them with such a young team. It will be the same in the Finals, Zenit Kazan are the clear favorites, but we will leave our hearts on the court and try to win that match.”
