Italian side were two sets ahead of Zenit Kazan, but they failed to make the final step toward the trophy.
“It’s hard to speak about anything now,” said Tine Urnaut for WorldofVolley immediately after the match. “It was a high-level game. We played really good for two sets, then they played really good for two sets. In the tie-break… We missed our chances. One or two points decided the winner. At the end, it is really hard to think about positive things. Yes, we have played a good tournament, but we are very sorry that we failed to win the final game.”
