Marko Ivović was the best scorer of Serbia National Team in the clash against Poland in Round 2 of Pool K at the 2016 FIVB World League Final Six in Kraków.

The receiver expressed his point of view on the win versus Poland and explained what kind of discussion he had with rival Fabian Drzyzga during third set.

„We played against them (Poland) in the World League group so we had reasons before the match to believe we can play good and that’s what happened. In the third set after 10-minute break it was difficult, just like we saw it was difficult to the USA and Italy. We fell down, but after that we came back and won,“ Ivović said to WoV reporter.

As for tomorrow’s game against France

„We are here, we are Serbia and we want to beat everyone if it’s possible. They play good but we will try to do our best and what will happen it will happen.“

On the absence of Aleksandar Atanasijević due to injury…

„We wish Atanasijević to come back as soon as possible. He is always with us. But we are good as a team of 14 guys and we have spirit. We really need him, but Luburić is playing really good.“

About verbal clash with Drzyzga

„Everything is OK. It’s Fabian, he likes to speek, we know each other really good. He always speeks with referees, with other guys. I know him and that’s normal for him.“
