AZS Politechnika
After losing an opening game against Resovia, AZS Politechnika Warszawska have recorded the first win in Plusliga 2016/2017. They downed Luczniczka BYDGOSZCZ in straight sets 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-20).
In the first two sets, home team was creating huge advantage. Afterwards Luczniczka couldn’t make comeback and they had to surrender. In the third set, away side had four point lead (9-5), but it was not enough to extend the game.
Michal Filip (15 points) and Lukasz Lapszynski (13 points) were the best players on the winning side, while on the other side Bartosz Filipiak was the only player with double digits – 12 points.
