Dante Boninfante
“We signed a contract with an Italin national tema player. There is a very long season ahead of us, and although we are very happy with all the achievements so far, we have set very high goals for future. We took advantage of the possibility of obtaining a very good volleyball player, who was free on the market”, says Konrad Piechocki, president of the PGE Skra Belchatow club.
Dante Boninfante was born on March 7, 1977. Throughout his career he performed in the Italian league, including Sisley Treviso, with whom he won the Champions League. He also won the CEV Cup, Italian Serie A1 Title and Coppa Italia. With the Italian national team he won the bronze medal in the London Olympics and a silver medal in the European Championships in the Czech Republic and Austria in 2011.
