Zaksa
Zaksa remained leaders in the Plus Liga after outplaying Lubin by a 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-23) at home in Round 20.
Two-time defending champions of Poland played with variable luck in January but by making the success today, they confirmed returning to the winning track. Lubin had a good chance of extending the game to more than three sets as they had a three-point advantage for the most of the second set.
Mateusz Bieniek and Puerto Rican Maurice Torres scored 12 points apiece for Zaksa. Łukasz Kaczmarek delivered 15 points for Lubin.
With the exception of the third set, Asseco Resovia Rzeszów did not have major problems against the home side of Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie, 3-0. Aleksander Śliwka tallied 15 points for Resovia, while Grzegorz Bociek scored 19 points for Aluron Virtu.
