PGE Skra Bełchatów beat Cuprum Lubin on the road in straight sets, partially 25-20, 25-15, 25-23, in their ninth mutual encounter (Skra won all of them). Thus, the players coached by Roberto Piazza took advantage of the fact that ONICO Warzawa lost one point yesterday, to advance to the second place in the standings. Mariusz Wlazły topped Skra with 22 points (3 aces, 3 kill blocks) while Bulgarian Nikolay Penchev made 89% reception (9 digs, 33% perfect reception). In Lubin, the Estonian Robert Täht scored 13 points (4 aces).

The titleholders ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle prevailed against Cerrad Czarni Radom by a 3-1, playing without injured Belgian outside hitter Sam Deroo, just like in the 2018 CEV Champions League match with Diatec Trentino, a couple of days ago. The Puerto Rican Maurice Torres scored 16 points for Zaksa. Wojciech Żaliński notched 20 points for Czarni.

Trefl Gdańsk swept MKS Będzin by a 3-0 with 16 points from Damian Schulz.
