As it was known from earlier, Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle and PGE Skra Bełchatów advanced directly to the playoff semifinals as No.1 and No.2, respectively.
Even before their encounter of the last round against Łuczniczka Bydgoszcz, it was clear Trefl Gdańsk secured No.3 and, provisionally, the easiest rivals in the quarterfinals – No.6 Jastrzębski Węgiel. Jastrzębski defeated Dafi Społem Kielce in the last round by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-21) with Cuban Salvador Oliva making 13 points.
Since Asseco Resovia Rzeszów (the Frenchman Thibault Rossard scored 14 points) beat Stocznia Szczecin (3-0) and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn (the Czech Jan Hadrava scored 16 points) defeated MKS Będzin with the same result, both saved their playoff spots, No.4 and No.5, respectively, and will face each other in the quarterfinals.
The last two sides in the standings, BBTS Bielsko-Biała and Dafi Społem Kielce will be relegated from Plus Liga. The loser of the matchup between No.13 MKS Będzin and No.14 Łuczniczka Bydgoszcz will contest in the playoff for Plus Liga place with the winners of Division 2.
The best-of-three playoff quarterfinals will start on April 18.
