The head coach of Russia Sergey Shlypanikov has published the final list of players for the World Championship challenges!

These are the players that will try to win the gold medal at the World Champs in Italy in Bulgaria!

Setters: Alexander Butko (Zenit Kazan), Sergey Grankin (Dinamo Moscow)

Opposites: Maxim Mikhaylov (Zenit Kazan), Viktor Poletaev (Kuzbass Kemerovo)

Middle blockers: Dmitriy Muserskiy (Suntory Sunbirds), Artem Volvich (Zenit Kazan), Iliya Vlasov (Dinamo Mosca), Ilyas Kurkaev (Lokomotiv Novosibirsk),

Outside hitters: Dmitry Volkov (Fakel Novy Urengoy), Egor Kliuka (Fakel Novy Urengoy), Yury Berezhko (Dinamo Mosca), Alexey Rodichev (Lokomotiv Novosibirsk)

Libero: Alexey Verbov (Zenit Kazan), Alexander Sokolov (Yaroslavich Yaroslavl)

Russia are playing against Australia on September 12, while the USA will play vs. Serbia and Cameroon vs. Tunisia in the first round of POOL C. Two games have already been played – Italy defeated Japan, while the Bulgarians beat Finland.
