Kuzbass
The second seed Kuzbass defeated No.1 seed Zenit at home in Game 4 of the 2018/19 Superliga finals by a 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-23) to win the national title which is the biggest success in the club history. The highest achievement of the Kemerovo team so far was the fourth place in the 2017/18 Superliga. Kuzbass became the eighth team to claim the title in Russia in 28 editions of the championship. Zenit remained the record holders with 10 titles.

Wow, congrats to Kuzbass. We, Galatasaray, managed to eliminate a Russian champion at CEV Cup, unbelievable.
Finally!! Congratulations Kuzbass! Good job Viktor Poletaev! It is so hard for me to get impressed by a player but damn, Viktor for me is one of the best these days.
