Lokomotiv, who wittingly lost the top spot in the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch regular season, which turned out to cost them the title as the competition ended due to coronavirus pandemic (regular-season winners Dinamo-Kazan won the title), made two contract renewals. Back-up outside hitters, both Russia National Team members, will stay in the Kaliningrad team one more season: Tatyana Yurinskaya and Irina Voronkova.
Last season, they were overshadowed by Margarita Kurilo and Tatyana Kosheleva. Lokomotiv fans are certainly eager to hear if the latter will keep wearing the jersey of their club in 2020/21 but it’s yet unknown.
