One of the best male volleyball setters in the world, Bruno Rezende ‘Bruninho’, is on the wishlist of Zenit-Kazan.

Web Vôlei published the information that the Brazil National Team setter Bruninho is on a wishlist of Russia’s Zenit-Kazan for the 2021/22 season. According to the same source, the EMS Taubaté Funvic player made the Tatarstan giants a priority for negotiations. It remains unknown what will happen with the current starting setter of Zenit, Aleksandr Butko, given that it’s hardly likely that he’ll accept the role of a backup.

Also, we’ll have to wait and see if the talk on eventual hiring of a 2016 Rio Olympics Best Setter, Bruninho, will improve the relations between Earving Ngapeth and a Superliga Parimatch club in view of continuing the collaboration at the end of the season which, at this point, seems impossible. It’s a well-known fact that these two players are close friends from the time they wore the jersey of Italy’s Leo Shoes Modena.
