“The tournament is still going on, we have to keep our strength. We are not tired yet.”

In games with unfamiliar opponents, when you don’t know who may be main threat how, do you plan your tactics?

“Of course, there is instructions from a coach, how to block and other things… But anyway, if the opponent is unfamiliar, blocking is difficult.”

There are no some of the best Russian players in squad. What do you think about the other teams on this tournament?

Sudents and amateurs are members of every team. Also, we have a good sides here, like Brazil and Poland. Belarus is strong too, there are few players who are participating in Russian championship.”

For you, this is the first Universiade. What kind of impression it produces to you?

“ Only positive impressions. I really like it, including the organization.”
