The best scorer for Russia is Natalia Goncharova (16). The best scorer for Thailand is Onuma Sittirak (15).
In the first set Russia and Thailand were trading points but Russian team was more successful and with spikes of Natalia Goncharova and Irina Zaryazhko the score was 8-3. But Thailand had tied the game 11-11 and Iuriy Marichev took a time-out. After that there were slight improvement in Russian game but Onuma Sittirak made two aces 15-16. Russia showed their strong desire to win and Victoriia Chaplina ended the first set 25-20.
In the second set Thailand tried to control over the court but Russian team did not let them to attack and sharp spikes of Tatiana Kosheleva improve the situation 8-7. Due to service of Anna Matienko and attacks of Irina Zaryazhko Russia get advantage at the second technical time out. Double substitution of Thailand did not bring positive result and Tatiana Kosheleva ended the set.
In the third set Russia started to put pressure right after the beginning 8-3. But Thailand regrouped and tried to cope with Russian attacks. But their own mistakes did not let them to do anything 16-13. At the end of third set Thailand decided not to lose the game and tried to win every score in the set. Irina Zaryazhko ended the match 22-25.
