Dinamo Moscow struggled in the third match in a row in the 2021/22 Russian Men’s Volleyball Championship, showing signs of crisis in play.
It was expected that Dinamo Moscow will experience problems in the away match of Round 10 of the 2021/22 Men’s Superliga Parimatch given they arrived in Nizhnevartovsk just a couple of days after their CEV Champions League encounter in Belgium. The hosts Yugra-Samotlor were in an excellent mood in the first two sets, which they took, but failed to upset favored club from the country’s capital who won their second tie-breaker in the last three matches. Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov top-scored Dinamo with 25 points, including six aces. Ilya Vlasov made 79% attack (11/14). The Moscow side moved up from fourth to third place in the charts.
Zenit Saint Petersburg recorded the third win in a row but remained fifth in the standings, while Lokomotiv took a provisional lead after a straight-set victory over Ural, pushing Zenit-Kazan (played one game less) to the second place.
