After the Supercup final in which his Zenit Kazan won the trophy, Matt Anderson stated that Sergey Tetyukhin should be a role model to many volleyball players.
“It’s always nice to win. Despite we are still far from our top form, we can be proud of defeating a very strong team such as Belogorie by 3-0. They have outstanding players. Sergey Tetyukhin is simply incredible. Yes, he has aged, but he is still playing at amazing level. He should inspire many of us,” said Anderson.
Recall that Zenit outplayed Belogorie in straight sets and won the Russian Supercup.
