RUS M: Zenit parted ways with setter after signing Butko!

The head coach of Zenit Kazan Vladimir Alekno had to say good bye to one of the setters in the rosters.

His choice was Sergey Bagrey! After spending a half of the season in a jersey of European champions, he will have to search for another team.

“We will see where Bagrey is going to continue career. There are some options. Sport is sometimes so cruel. We are grateful to Sergey as he helped us to win the Russian Cup” says director of Zenit, Oleg Bryzgalov.

Bagrey came during the summer after leaving powerhouse from Belgorod, Belogorie.

Sorry for Bagrey. I think he is not bad, may be not good enough when compared with Butko. He played well in semi-final against Dynamo Moscow in Russian Cup.
