After the first part of the Russian Championship, Zenit Kazan have 12 wins out of 13 games! The last one came against Novokuybyishevsk on the road, so the reigning champions remained far in front of their rivals on the standings.
At the same time Belogorie Belgorod had lot of troubles this weekend. Belogorie did win the away game against Ural Ufa,but only after a tie-break, which means that they lost another point in the championship race.
