Volkov, who has recently parted ways with Gazprom-Yugra, did not wait for too long to sign for another club. He accepted the offer from Dinamo Moscow…
“Last evening I called my agent and the next day he told me there were few offers. One of them was from Dinamo Moscow. I had wanted to return to Dinamo even before the start of the season, as this team is very dear to me. But it did not work out so I had to go the other way. Now I will once again play together with my favorite setter Sergey Grankin. Also, as there are plenty of excellent outside hitters in the team I do not want to disturb them. I will play as middle blocker in Dinamo,” said Volkov who played for Dinamo Moscow from 2002 to 2010.
