RUS M: Russia to host 2019 Men’s European Championship?

Russian Volleyball Federation is considering the possibility of organizing the CEV European Championship for Men in 2019, but it still did not apply for it.

“The closest tournament that we could theoretically carry out is Men’s Europen Championship in 2019. We consider this possibility. The application has not yet been submitted. We must agree on it after the 2017 European Championship,” Russian federation Secretary General, Aleksandr Yaremenko, said to “R-Sport”.

Last time Russia hosted a European Championship was in 2007 when tthe ournament took place in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
