Serbian team Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad equalized record of the lowest number of points scored by one team in the CEV Champions League since rally scoring system came into use, in 1999.

Vojvodina, a team that received wild card for this season’s Champions League, reached six points only in Set 1 of the game versus Italian DHL Modena, three days ago.

Serbians came into group of 12 teams that scored less than ten points in one set in this competition since rally system to 25 was introduced and became second team ever in the Champions League to score six points.

Thanks to the effort of Jeremy Brahm from „Inside Volley Country“, we have info that, so far, only Bosnian representative MOK Jedinstvo Brčko remained at six in one set. It was in 1999/2000 season in a qualification round match vs. Levski Sofia from Bulgaria. Interestingly, Brčko scored six points in the opening set, just like Vojvodina.
