Crvena zvezda Belgrade tied the playoff semifinal series against Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad in the Serbian men’s volleyball championship Superliga 2017/2018.

No.4 Crvena zvezda tied the best-of-five playoff semis against No.1 Vojvodina at 1-1, prevailing on the road in Game 2 by a 3-1 (18-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-22). Aleksandar Gmitrović led the team from the Serbian capital with 34 points (3 aces, 3 blocks), while David Mehić scored 14 points for the defending champions, making 79% reception (14 digs, 2 errors).

The second-seed Novi Pazar opened their semifinal series versus No.3 Spartak Subotica with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-22) win thanks to 18 points from Montenegrin Marko Vukašinović (4 aces, 2 kill blocks). He recorded 86% hitting (12/14, 1 error) and 75% reception (12 digs). Nemanja Jungić scored 11 points for Spartak
