After spending 13 seasons in total with Russia’s Dinamo Moscow, the veteran player Berezhko will compete abroad again (last time in 2020/11 with Leo Shoes Modena, Italy). A 36-year-old outside hitter is to continue his career at the Turkish club Galatasaray HDI Sigorta. The reason why he left the club from his country’s capital is that he didn’t have much room to play due to big competition in his position.
In 13 seasons (in two mandates) as a member of Dinamo, Berezhko won the national championship and Super Cup two times each, the national cup three times, and the CEV Cup once. As part of ’Zbornaya’, in addition to the gold of the 2012 Olympic Games, Berezhko became the winner of the CEV European Championship and the FIVB World League one-time each.
