Galatasaray-vs-Ziraat
The 4th-seed Galatasaray HDI Sigorta really gave hard time to the regular-season winners Ziraat Bankkart in the series of the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi playoff semifinals but the title favorites no.1 managed to overcame it and progress to the finals. The Ankara team swept the series with 3-2 and 3-1 wins.
Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat highlighted Ziraat in Game 2 with 21 points. Puerto Rican Maurice Torres notched 15 points on the losing side, while Russian Yuriy Berezhko made 80 % reception (10 digs, 20 % perfect).
The 2nd-seed Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta avoided elimination from 3rd-seed Arkas Spor by tying the series at 1-1. Metin Toy top-scored ’The Yellow Canaries’ with 16 points, while Emre Batur set up 5 blocks.
